Illumination: Estepona shines in Christmas splendour

The Christmas lights in Estepona will be switched on at 7pm on Friday 2 December. In connection with this, an event with the young artist Nayeli Ruiz (La Voz Kids) and the musical groups Jesús Cautivo and Nostalgia Navideña from Estepona will be hosted on the newly designed part of the Avenida España.

More than 2,000 decorative elements, large fir trees at the town hall, in the Parque Botánico-Orquidario, on the Avenida de España, in the Plaza Antonia Guerrero and in the Plaza del Ajedrez, as well as lighting throughout the town will create a Christmas flair.

The lighting uses energy-saving LED technology that the city has purchased in recent years. This should ultimately save costs that would be incurred if the lights were hired and installed externally.
