Infrastructure: 100 bicycle racks for Estepona

The city of Estepona is in the process of installing 100 bicycle racks at schools as well as in various other parts of the city centre, for example near administrative buildings. The installation is part of the “Year of the Bicycle”. This is an action carried out by the city to promote the use of this mode of transport. The city’s overall goals are to prevent pollutant emissions and to promote health. The cost of the bicycle racks is 17,000 euros. They will be paid for from EU funding.
