Music: II Composition Competition

For the II. Estepona, Garden of the Costa del Sol”, musicians/composers of legal age can submit their music pieces with reference to the city to the city until Friday, 25 November. Among other things, the works must be written for a regular brass band instrumentation and must not be less than 12 minutes in length and not exceed a maximum of 20 minutes. Also required for participation in the competition is the submission of a curriculum vitae.

A jury will then select the musician/composer with the best CV and the piece best suited to Estepona. Lastly, the selected musician/composer must send their piece in PDF format to concursocomposicionbanda@estepona.es by 2pm on Friday 27 January 2023.

City Hall staff will schedule a date for the premiere of the work and the public award ceremony in consultation with the winner.
