Sports: Work on new sports and leisure complex started
The start of work on a new sports and leisure complex was recently attended by Estepona Mayor José María García Urbano. The sports and leisure complex in the eastern part of the municipality will offer new opportunities to the citizens. It is being built on an area of 8,000 square metres in Calle Lima next to the river corridor of the Las Cañas stream in Estepona.
The sports and leisure complex will have a total of 11 paddle tennis courts. There will also be a social club with a terrace overlooking the main square, as well as a restaurant and fitness area. A new park with public access will be built around the sports and leisure complex. The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
