Estepona City Council informs that the Children’s Room ‘Elvira Lindo’ of the Municipal Library, located in the Padre Manuel Cultural Center, will host this Friday, October 25, at 18.00 hours, the presentation and storytelling of ‘Historias de bichitos, 4 unpublished fables’, first publication of Natalia Bernal Alés.
The activity, framed in the events of the International Day of Libraries, is aimed at children between 5 and 6 years old, with free access until full capacity is reached.
Published by Apuleyo Ediciones, the story is illustrated by Adrián Pereira. As in classic tales, in Historias de bichitos there are timeless human values such as solidarity, tenderness, mutual support, friendship and many others. All of them are very present and well narrated through four stories that show us different realities that are lived in the entomological world portrayed in them.
Natalia Bernal, with simplicity and depth, gives us this debut full of beauty. It reflects her best experiences in school with her students and whose message is well exposed in these unpublished fables.
Natalia Bernal Alés is a teacher by vocation, with 27 years of teaching experience, both in Spain and in England. One of her greatest weaknesses is teaching children to read, something she considers magical. Living in England, she took advantage of rainy days to capture her experience in schools in the form of storytelling. One of her dreams has come true, the publication of these stories.
