The III Cycling Trophy ‘Villa de Estepona’ will close the XXVI Provincial Cycling Circuit Diputación de Málaga Road Schools 2024
The race will be held next Sunday, October 27, starting at 11:00 a.m., at the Fair and Sports Grounds.
The councilman attached to the delegation of Sport, Luis Gil, accompanied by the president and vice president of the Virgen de Carmen Cycling Club, Alejandro Pavon and Juan Antonio Baeza, respectively, today reported on the Third Cycling Trophy ‘Villa de Estepona’ to be held on Sunday October 27 at the Fair and Sports Park.
The cycling quarry will have the opportunity to take part in this test, which is the second scoring, and will close the XXVI Provincial Cycling Circuit Diputación de Málaga in the form of Road Schools organized by the Andalusian Cycling Federation.
The local event, organized by the Unión Ciclista Virgen del Carmen C.D, together with the Andalusian Cycling Federation, and the City Council of Estepona, will begin at 11.00 am. There will be two different circuits, one for the promising and beginners categories with a route of just one kilometer, and another of 1.35 kilometers for the juveniles and children, to which participants will give a certain number of laps, according to their category: promises (7-8 years, one lap, 950 meters route); beginners (9-10 years, two laps, 950 meters route); juveniles (11-12 years, four laps, route 1.320 meters); and children (13-14 years old, eight laps, 1,320 meters), which will score points for the circuit.
For their part, cyclists born in 2018 or later years (under 7 years) will perform games and gymkhana under the supervision of the organization’s staff, not scoring for the provincial circuit. This activity will be arranged for the enjoyment and handling of the bike.
The race office for the collection of bibs and registration will be open from 09.30 to 10.30 am at the Fair and Sports Enclosure.
As it has already been included in the Technical Regulations 2024 of the Andalusian Cycling Federation, there will be no limitation of development for schools, so that they can use the one that best suits each of the capabilities of each rider.
