The Municipal Band closes the summer season with the monographic ‘Music and Cinema’.
The summer cycle of concerts will end on Sunday, August 27, at 21:00 hours, in the Plaza del Reloj, with free access.
The Estepona City Council informs that the Municipal Band will close next Sunday, August 27, at 21:00 hours, the summer season at the Recinto Musical Mtro. Navarro Mollor, located in the emblematic Plaza del Reloj, with a concert dedicated to ‘Music and Cinema’.
Under the direction and artistic direction of Maestro José Antonio López Camacho, the musical group will perform soundtracks from films such as Maleficent, The Mystery of the Crypt, Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Spiderman, Ghostbusters, Walking Miss Daisy, Gladiator, Madagascar, Red Tide, The Lion King and Pirates of the Caribbean, among others.
From July 23rd, when the summer season began, until August 27th, almost fifty works will have been performed in this series of six monographic recitals.
As it is tradition in every edition, the performance will finish with the interpretation of the Hymn of Estepona, with words and music of the remembered Mtro. Manuel Navarro Mollor.
