Urban development: Expansion of the coastal corridor
Work has begun on the coastal corridor that will connect the beaches at the Veramar, Bermeja and El Cristo housing developments. The work will involve the construction of a 367-metre long path made of printed concrete. The paving work will be complemented by the construction of a 12-metre wooden walkway across the riverbed of the existing torrent. The project also includes the installation of street furniture, water taps and litter bins, among other things.
The work will be carried out by the company Althenia S. L. U. and is expected to be completed within three months. The cost of the works is 494,049 euros (including VAT). They are financed by the European Union funded Reconstruction, Transformation and Resilience Plan – Next Generation EU.
