Urban development: More than 20,000 trees planted in Estepona in ten years
More than 20,000 trees have been planted in Estepona since 2012 as part of a so-called tree plan. This was announced by the city recently. The trees are not only meant to make the city more environmentally friendly, but also more beautiful.
The public green spaces have also almost doubled since 2012. They amount to only about 100 hectares. According to the city, the city centre and the outer districts in particular have been enhanced by the new parks and green spaces in recent years.
