The City Council opens the deadline for applications for the summer craft market on the Paseo Marítimo
Proposals can be submitted until May 15 to apply for a stand in this space designed to promote traditional commercial activity
The City Council of Estepona informs that the Commerce area has open until May 15, the deadline for submitting applications for participation in the Summer Market that is mounted on the Paseo Marítimo.
The authorized activities will be related to crafts, the sale of previously prepared and cooked products and children’s attractions. On this occasion a total of 32 stalls will be authorized (28 craft and two children’s attractions).
“With this market we want to contribute to the promotion and protection of craftsmanship, encouraging originality and maintaining the characteristics of each artisan as a source of employment, social cohesion and means of tourism and cultural resource of high potential,” said the councilor attached to the delegation of Commerce Cristina Cintrano.
The idea of this market is that the local commercial sector can exercise the activity of selling outside the permanent establishment, using removable, transportable or mobile facilities. The stalls will have dimensions of 3×3 meters.
The authorized activities will begin on July 1, 2025 and will end on September 7, 2025 (with the exception of July 16, the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel). The assembly of the stalls will take place on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, while the attractions will take place from Monday to Sunday. The schedule will be from 19:00 hours to 0:00 hours.
The design of the stalls will be similar in order to achieve homogeneity in this space, which becomes one of the busiest during the summer months.
