The City Council will award the country’s young designers during the IX Estepona Fashion Week

Those interested can submit their proposals until August 31. The organization will select the eight finalist designers who will be able to show their work in a parade, to be held on September 27 at the Botanical-Orquidarium Park.

The Estepona City Council informs that the registration period is now open to participate in the VI Contest of Young Designers ‘Estepona de Moda’, to be held within the IX Estepona Fashion Week, from 24 to 27 of next September.

Organized jointly with Juanchy García Estudio and image consultant Miguel Toledo, this contest aims to support and recognize the work of designers between 18 and 35 years old who were born, or prove to reside and / or study in Spain at the time of publication of the rules of participation.

Those responsible for the contest will select the eight finalists, who will present their work in a parade that will take place on September 27 at the Botanical-Orquidario Park.

That same day, a jury composed of different professionals from the fashion world will choose the winner, who will receive a prize of 1,000 € and a trophy. The second runner-up will receive a prize of 500 € and trophy, and the third will receive 300 € and trophy. In addition, the City Council will distribute five € 200 áccesits.

The contest rules state that participation can only be on an individual basis. Interested persons must submit as a proposal a single collection in any of the different styles of the fashion industry, which will consist of a total of 6 designs. Registration will be made by email to esteponademoda@gmail.com, and in the subject of the email must specify: Contest ‘Estepona de Moda’.
