Marta Zaragoza is exhibiting a collection of artworks from the “Sigilos” collection at the Casa de Las Tejerinas

The art exhibition will be open to the public from August 13 to September 2, with free admission

The Estepona City Council announces that Room 2 of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flores, will host the art exhibition “Sigilos: The Guardians of the Sky” by artist Marta Zaragoza from August 13 to September 2.

This new artistic project by the Madrid-born artist, now based in Manilva, invites viewers to reflect on our relationship with the cosmos and the role of human beings within the fabric of the universe. A sigil does not describe a force; it contains it. In this collection, art serves as the vessel in which the Seven Metaphysical Rays are ordered to become symbols, and light takes on geometric form to inhabit space.

The Sigilos collection is not a representation of the divine, but a capture of its vibration. Each work is the receptacle of a specific current. The canvas is transformed into a map of invisible currents, where the balance and tension of geometric forms act as bridges between worlds. It is an invitation to see not only with the eyes, but with intuition, allowing Sacred Geometry and Metaphysical Chromatics to speak directly to the subconscious.

The exhibition will be open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with free admission.

Marta Zaragoza Gómez was born in Madrid in 1974. She earned a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University, specializing in sculpture restoration. She later expanded her training with a master’s degree in Conservation and Restoration of Architectural and Urban Heritage.

For more than 28 years, she has worked in the restoration of cultural heritage, contributing to the conservation of important monuments and works of art throughout Spain. She has participated in more than 50 projects, including the restoration of the cloister at Pamplona Cathedral, the sculptures at the Puerta de Alcalá in Madrid, and the conservation of valuable pieces at the Astorga Cathedral Museum, among others.

Her experience spans a wide variety of disciplines, including the restoration of polychrome wood (altarpieces, sculptures, stucco moldings, coffered ceilings), canvases, murals, plasterwork, facades, architectural monuments, and stone surfaces.

In addition to his solid training in the field of restoration, his artistic side has always been a part of his work. Over the past two years, he has participated in several group and solo exhibitions at venues such as the Castle of the Duchess of Manilva, the Castle of Guzmán el Bueno in Tarifa, the Casa de las Tejrinas, in Estepona, the White Square Art Gallery in Sotogrande, the MosStudio Gallery in Seville, the Origen Gallery in Madrid, the Abartium Gallery in Calldetenes (Barcelona), and the Art Nou 277 Gallery in Barcelona, among others.

At the age of 18, she began her journey into meditation, a process that has allowed her to experience profound personal and spiritual growth. This inner evolution has permeated her art, serving as a medium for expression and transformation, and has become a channel through which she conveys a language that channels and connects with the energy of the Universe.
