Comedian Luís Piedrahita presents his latest show, “Apocalípticamente correcto,” at the Felipe VI Auditorium Theater

The Estepona City Council announces that comedian Luis Piedrahita will present the show “Apocalípticamente correcto”—a witty monologue about freedom—this coming Saturday, September 12, at 9:00 p.m. at the Felipe VI Auditorium.

Human beings have always wanted to do whatever they please, but is that possible, or is our fate already written and beyond our control?

Luis pokes fun at horoscopes—which are irrefutable proof that our destiny is written in the stars—and at RVs, which are proof that it’s written on road maps.

In this monologue, Piedrahita lashes out with the destructive fury of a puppy against topics such as electric eels, soy milk, rain, and freedom of expression.

These are controversial topics, but Luis fears nothing. Why? Because fear chases away laughter, and, conversely, laughter chases away fear.

A monologue with a touch of magic, essential for understanding the origin of our fears and our hopes.

A journey at a goldfinch’s stride through the meadows of absurdity, surrealism, and imagination. What’s the point of all this? None. But no one can say anything to Piedrahita because he does this for one reason only: because he feels like it. It’s written in stone, and we can’t change it.
