Estepona shows its support for Ceuta by lighting up its main buildings in the colors of Ceuta’s flag

The flag of Ceuta will also fly on the facade of City Hall until a solution is found to the serious situation facing this city, with which we have a sister-city relationship.

The Estepona City Council announces that tonight and tomorrow it will illuminate some of the city’s main public buildings in the colors of the Ceuta flag. In this way, it will show its support and solidarity with its sister city, Ceuta, in light of the difficult situation it has been facing for over a month.

In addition, tomorrow the Ceuta flag will be raised on the facade of City Hall, where it will fly alongside the flags of Spain, Andalusia, and Estepona. The Ceuta flag will remain flying at City Hall until a solution is found to the serious situation the autonomous city is facing.

With this gesture, the Estepona City Council wishes to publicly express its closeness, support, and solidarity with the residents of Ceuta, a city with which Estepona shares a special relationship through its sister-city ties.

The city administration believes that, especially in times of difficulty, the bonds between sister cities take on special significance. For this reason, the Estepona City Council wishes to demonstrate its support for Ceuta and its citizens, conveying a message of unity and solidarity in the face of circumstances that have now persisted for over a month.
