Estepona is hosting an exhibition today on the magical world of Harry Potter
This afternoon, there will be a themed parade and a symphony concert featuring pieces from the Harry Potter movie soundtracks
The Estepona City Council announces that an exhibition dedicated to the Harry Potter universe will be open to the public all day today on Terraza Street. The exhibition will remain open to the public until midnight.
The exhibition features life-size characters and creatures, including Harry Potter himself, the Troll, and the Thestral, offering fans the opportunity to experience the imagination behind one of the most popular film series of all time in a unique way. The exhibition is complemented by various booths featuring merchandise and items related to the Harry Potter universe.
This event is part of the special program organized by the City Council, in collaboration with the Unicorn Association, to mark the 25th anniversary of the Spanish premiere of *Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone*, the first film in the series, which premiered on November 30, 2001.
The magic will continue today through the streets of Estepona, starting at 8:00 p.m., with a “Harry Potter Magic Parade,” which will set off from the Orquidario Botanical Park and wind its way through the city center, ending at Plaza del Reloj.
At 9:00 p.m. at the same location, the Ciudad de Jaén Symphonic Band will perform a concert, playing some of the saga’s most recognizable musical pieces live.
The special program will conclude tomorrow, Saturday, September 5, with a day of board games set in the Harry Potter universe, taking place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center. Participation is free and will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with participants rotating through a total of ten games, including Parchís, Dobble, Trivial Pursuit, Brain Box, and Strike.
With this initiative, Estepona becomes a gathering place for Harry Potter fans, with a program designed for the whole family to enjoy and allowing fans of all ages to relive the magic of a saga that continues to be part of the imagination of several generations.
