Music: City awards scholarships
The City of Estepona is awarding eight scholarships to young musicians who wish to complete their theoretical and practical training in the Estepona Municipal Band (Banda Municipal de Música de Estepona). Applications are open to musicians with Spanish nationality or nationals of a Member State of the European Union who are between 16 and 24 years old, provided they have completed at least one year of practical training in a musical band.
The scholarship holders will be trained between April and August 2023 in the following subjects: Flute (1 student), Clarinet (1 student), Trumpet (2 students), Flugelhorn (1 student), Trombone (2 students) and Cello (1 student).
The deadline for submitting applications with the required documents is Saturday, 15 April. Scholarships will be awarded following a selection process and taking into account the documents submitted in the application.
