Estepona hosts this week the Junior Sports CUP 2024 Tournament with the participation of 80 teams.
This soccer and indoor soccer competition will be held from June 27 to 30 at various municipal facilities.
The councilman attached to the delegation of Sport, Luis Gil; and the director of the event, Miguel Cuerdo, have presented the Junior Sports CUP 2024 Tournament, which will involve about 1,200 boys and girls from 80 teams.
It will be played on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 09:00 to 21:00 hours, and on Sunday 30, from 09:00 to 13:00 hours.
The Tournament is organized by the Sports and Leisure Consultancy ‘MC Sports Events’, in collaboration with the Consistory, and aims to be a benchmark in the framework of amateur sport events, with the vision to impact on all its participants.
This competition of categories from benjamín to juvenile, male and female of multidisciplinary character will count in this edition with two sports disciplines, soccer and futsal. The matches will be held in the municipal facilities of the San Fernando Football Field, Francisco Muñoz Pérez Football Stadium, Athletics Stadium (Football), and Polideportivos El Carmen (Indoor Football).
It will be played in categories from benjamín to juvenile, male and female, and in each of them, the teams will be divided into four groups of four teams each, in each group will be held a one-round league.
