José Franco and Inmaculada Carmona will present their new flamenco show ‘El lienzo de mi baile’ at the Felipe VI Auditorium

To be performed on Sunday, June 2 at 8:00 p.m.
The Estepona City Council informs that the dancers José Franco and Inmaculada Carmona will present their new flamenco show ‘El lienzo de mi baile’ next Sunday, June 2, at 8:00 pm, in the Felipe VI Auditorium.
“In ‘El lienzo de mi baile’ we dance to experiences, childhood and emotions. To laughter and tears, to union, to family and loneliness. To true friendship and to the one that fell by the wayside. To destiny, to love and to crazy nights. To the moments when everything was light and when darkness flooded our days. Drawing on the canvas of my dance everything that made us happy without leaving behind what made us suffer and at the same time grow”, say both dancers.
Born in Madrid in 1987, José Franco graduated in Spanish Dance and Flamenco at the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza ‘Carmen Amaya’. He has been part of the companies of Sara Baras, Aida Gómez, Ballet Español Rafael Aguilar, Bfm, Centro andaluz de Danza, Taller Ballet Nacional de España and the Carmen Mota company. In 2016 he premiered his first solo show ‘Flamenco en el XXI’, premiered in Malaga under the musical direction of Estepona guitarist Daniel Casares. In 2018 he premiered his second show ‘A sola2’. It was followed by ‘Tablao’ (2020) and ‘Equilibrio’ (2023).
Inmaculada Carmona was born in Cádiz in 1986 and is a flamenco dancer and bailaora. With a degree in Psychology, she obtained her Acade Spanish Dance degree and trained at the Marta de la Vega School in Madrid. She has been part of companies such as the Ballet Flamenco de Madrid and the Carmen Mota Company.
Both artists are co-directors, choreographers and teachers of the creative space “El Taller del Arte” in Estepona.
