Technology: Academy for young explorers

Robotics, programming, design, 3D printing and computer science can now be learned by tech-savvy children from the age of eight at the so-called Children’s Technology Academy in Estepona. The Elite Brain Technology Centre workshops aim to teach a range of techniques and skills for solving everyday problems through computational thinking.

Classes in the different courses (beginner, intermediate and advanced) take place one day a week (Monday to Thursday) and last one and a half hours. The courses last either from 4 to 5.30 pm or from 6 to 7.30 pm. The teaching languages are English and German.

The director of the Elite Brain Technology Centre, Juan Antonio Martín Ortega, and Estepona’s mayor José Antonio Bandera have also signed a cooperation agreement so that five socially disadvantaged children can attend the Children’s Technology Academy free of charge.
