Tender: City invites tenders for construction work for underground car park

The City of Estepona has put out to tender the construction works for an underground car park that will be located next to the Nuestra Señora del Carmen parish church. The new underground car park will have three floors and a capacity of around 330 vehicles. Half of the parking spaces will be allocated on a rotational basis, with the other half reserved for people registered in the city.

The new underground car park will not only benefit the residents of Huerta Nueva and the area around Calle San Roque, but also everyone who visits La Rada beach. Parking will be available for one euro per day.

The underground car park will be located in Manuel Navarro Mollor and Guadiaro streets and the esplanade of the Nuestra Señora del Carmen parish church. As part of the underground car park will be built on the private land next to the parish church, the city of Estepona has reached an agreement with the diocese of Málaga. The private property will be temporarily ceded by the diocese to the city of Estepona. After completion of the construction work, the diocese will receive the private property back.
