Maintenance: Sewage network is being cleaned

More than 16,000 drains and sewers have been renewed in Estepona this year to prevent flooding during heavy rains. In addition, more than 138 kilometres of the sewage network have already been cleaned this year to ensure its proper functioning.

The work is being carried out by the municipality in collaboration with the company Hidralia. The work also involves the use of a new device equipped with a camera. This makes it possible to identify sections of the network that need to be cleaned most urgently.
