Infrastructure: Noise barriers to be erected in Juan Benítez
For the installation of noise barriers in the Juan Benítez area, the municipality of Estepona has awarded the contract to the Sedinfra S. A. company. The work will start in the next few weeks and is expected to take about four months.
The Juan Benítez area is bordered by the AP-7 motorway to the north, the Francisco Muñoz Pérez municipal stadium to the west, the Avenida Juan Carlos I to the south and the city centre to the east.
The main purpose of the noise barriers is to reduce the noise coming from the motorway and improve the quality of life of the residents. The cost of installing the noise barriers is 622,974 euros (including VAT).
