Infrastructure: Beach promenade to be beautified

Work has begun on the redesign of a section of the seafront promenade at Playa de la Cala in Estepona. After demolition work on the section that runs from the Colegio San José to the building “Jaracanda 404” and connects to the coastal corridor in the area of La Punta de la Plata, the redesign is planned. Among other things, the pedestrian paths are to be widened and the surroundings are to be beautified with benches and fountains. The work will be carried out by the company Grulop 21 S. L. and is expected to take two months. The cost of the work amounts to 761,604 euros (including VAT), which will be borne entirely by the provincial government of Málaga.
