The Estepona Swimming School is hosting the fourth event of the 40th Provincial Summer Swimming Circuit organized by the Málaga Provincial Council

The third day of the event took place last Saturday, the 25th, in Benalmádena

The Estepona City Council reports on the most notable results from the town’s Municipal Swimming School during the fourth round of the 40th Málaga Provincial Council Summer Swimming Circuit 2026, held last Saturday, the 25th, in Benalmádena.

This educational and participatory competition is organized by the Málaga Provincial Council, the Andalusian Swimming Federation, and the city councils participating in the program, and aims, among other things, to strengthen municipal swimming campaigns and schools throughout the province.

The most notable results achieved by the 43 swimmers from the Estepona Municipal Swimming Team who competed were as follows:

-In the Boys’ Benjamín category, Jaime Ferrer Muñoz finished 4th.

-In the Girls’ Junior category, Inés Ferrer Muñoz finished 2nd in her individual event, while her teammate Carmen Gutiérrez Timircan finished 4th.

-In the Boys’ Cadet category, Rubén Ramos Valero finished 1st, while his teammate David Ferrer Parrado finished 3rd.

-In the Girls’ Cadet category, Sandra Romero Adame finished 1st in the 50-meter butterfly.

-In the Men’s Open category, Benjamin Lewis Cook won his event, while Víctor Vázquez De Oria finished 2nd, and José Manuel Calvo Granados placed 4th.

In the relay events:

-The Boys’ Junior team (Héctor Ruíz Buch, Jaime Ferrer Muñoz, Sergio Velasco Fraile, Juam Vázquez Simón) finished 3rd;

-The Girls’ Junior team (Eden Aurelia Cook, Natalia Guerrero Núñez, Noa Aragón Ramos, Aria Bautista Rodríguez) finished 3rd;

-The two Senior Boys’ relay teams both took 2nd place (Roberto Ruíz Buch, David Ferrer Parrado, Víctor Vázquez De Oria, Benjamin Lewis Cook) and 3rd (Abel Aragón Ramos, Miguel Puertas Macías, Rubén Ramos Valero, José Manuel Calvo Granados).

-And the Senior Women’s team (Carmen Gutiérrez Timircan, Inés Ferrer Muñoz, Sandra Romero Adame, Adriana Díaz Castro) finished 2nd.

The fifth round of this circuit will take place this coming Saturday, August 1, at the Free Wave Sports Center in Cancelada, Estepona.
