The City Council is partnering with the 11th “Noche Blanca” Charity Gala to benefit APRONA

The event will take place on July 25 at the Mirador del Carmen to raise funds for the future residence for people with severe disabilities and independent living apartments.

The Estepona City Council is once again partnering with the “Noche Blanca” charity gala, organized by the APRONA Foundation. The eleventh edition of the event was presented today by María Aguilar, Councilwoman for Citizen Participation and Social Services, alongside Carlos Barrientos, a member of the APRONA Foundation’s board of trustees, and social worker Laura Benítez.

The gala will take place on July 25 at 8:30 p.m. in the area around the Mirador del Carmen and will feature a wide-ranging program of performances and activities for a fun evening of charity with family or friends. Highlights of the scheduled performances include Compás Flamenco and Sótano Sur. In addition, the event will feature a food and beverage stand offering food and drinks at affordable prices, as well as small themed stands serving ham, cheese, mojitos, and wine. The organizers note that payment will be accepted in cash only. The evening will feature a DJ, face painting for the little ones, and, as in previous years, the dress code will be white.

The main goal of this initiative is to raise funds for the project APRONA is developing in Estepona, which consists of a residence for people with severe disabilities and several independent living apartments.

Thanks to the funds raised in previous editions, the organization has already been able to cover the preliminary work necessary for the project’s implementation, such as site surveys, the preparation of blueprints, permits, licenses, bonds, and construction taxes.

Councilwoman María Aguilar highlighted the importance of citizen participation in this event, emphasizing that the attendance and collaboration of residents and visitors are essential to continuing to make progress and bringing to life a social resource of great significance for Estepona and its surrounding area.

Tickets are now on sale at a nominal price: 7 euros in advance and 8 euros at the box office. They can be purchased at the APRONA Foundation (Calle José Luis Díez), at any of the parking lots managed by APRONA, and at the APRONA store, located at Calle Santa Ana, number 8.

The Estepona City Council encourages residents to participate in this charity event and to contribute to a project that will improve the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families.
