Local author Laura Jiménez presents her poetry collection *Cenizas* at La Casa de Las Tejerinas

The event will take place on Friday, the 21st, at 6:00 p.m., with free admission until capacity is reached.
The Estepona City Council announces that the Alfonso Gil Alfonso Hall at the Casa de Las Tejerinas will host the presentation of the book *Cenizas* by local poet Laura Jiménez on Friday, August 21, at 6:00 p.m.
Published by Ediciones del Genal, *Cenizas* is the young author’s second collection of poems, an intimate work in which she explores love, heartbreak, loss, and the process of rebuilding oneself after being wounded.
“It’s hard to say goodbye when you don’t want to leave, but it’s even harder to try to fix something that’s broken. It wasn’t our love that hurt, but what I mistook for love. But I’m no longer afraid to say goodbye to you—this is my farewell.”
Laura Jiménez (Estepona, Málaga, age 26) finds in poetry the most sincere way to express what everyday words often fail to convey.
From a very young age, she has used writing as a refuge and a way to transform emotions, experiences, and memories into verses.
