The Insostenible Big Band presents the show “Los Reyes del Swing” at the Plaza del Ajedrez

The performance will take place next Friday, August 21, at 9:30 p.m., with free admission

The Estepona City Council announces that “La Insostenible Big Band” will present the show “Los Reyes del Swing” this coming Friday, August 21, at 9:30 p.m. in the Plaza del Ajedrez, as part of the summer cultural program.

The Málaga-based ensemble offers a journey through swing and jazz, performing works associated with the great names who have shaped the genre, such as Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Nat Adderley.

La Insostenible Big Band was born out of a joint initiative by students and teachers at the Professional Conservatories, building on the positive experience of establishing a Big Band as an elective course at the “Manuel Carra” Professional Conservatory of Málaga during the 2004–2005 academic year.

Having just celebrated its 20th anniversary on stage, the Málaga-based swing-jazz band is now looking toward the future. With two studio albums and more than 100 members throughout its history, La Insostenible has become one of the leading acts in the genre thanks to its solidity and quality on stage, its freshness and good humor, and its fantastic connection with the audience.
