The Estepona City Council will create about 15 new free parking spaces next to the bus station

The work will involve grading and paving an area of approximately 300 square meters after the existing embankment has been removed

The Estepona City Council reports that about fifteen new free parking spaces will be created next to the bus station, as part of a project that will make use of and develop an area currently occupied by a slope.

The work will initially involve removing the existing embankment to create the space needed for the new parking spaces. Subsequently, curbs will be installed, the ground will be leveled and prepared, and the entire area will be paved.

The project covers an area of approximately 300 square meters, which will be fully developed and paved, improving both the conditions of the space and its integration into the surroundings of the bus station. To complement this project, road surface repair work was recently carried out on Jesús de Polanco Avenue, thereby ensuring safer and more comfortable travel for drivers and users of this road.

With this project, the City Council continues to make progress in creating new free parking spaces and optimizing public spaces to improve mobility and facilitate parking for residents and users of the area.

This initiative joins other measures promoted by the City Council to expand parking availability at various locations throughout the city. Specifically, in the Sierra Estepona area—on Alejo Carpentier, Pilar Bardem, and Miguel Clavijo streets—98 new parking spaces will be created thanks to the reorganization of the area.
