Infrastructure: New lighting planned along the coastal corridor
With new lighting along the coastal corridor, the city of Estepona not only wants to ensure adequate visibility for users, but also improve the city’s energy efficiency. Therefore, it has put out to tender two corresponding contracts. The first contract is for the supply of 87 new solar luminaires for outdoor lighting. They must be powered by photovoltaic panels and are to be installed in the sections of the coastal corridor from the Carrefour shopping centre to Playa del Ángel and from the Andalucía Beach urbanisation to the Las Dunas hotel. The tender budget is 89,268.96 euros (including VAT).
The second contract is for the installation of 187 solar lights. They must also be equipped with a photovoltaic system. These solar lights are to be installed at ten points along the coastal path, including for example in Los Granados del Mar, at the Kempinski Hotel as well as at the Andalucía Beach Hotel Las Dunas. The tender budget is 191,876.96 euros (including VAT).
