Infrastructure: Climate-friendly lighting planned

A new lighting system is soon to be installed in Avenida Eugenio Tallifer, Calle Benadalid and Calle Archidona in Estepona. It is intended to provide better visibility for pedestrians and motorists. The city has put out a tender for this purpose. The total of 116 street lamps must be powered by photovoltaic panels and be independent of the electricity grid. In this way, the city wants to reduce the annual emission of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

The budget for the contract is 112,395.15 euros (including VAT).
