The Casa de Las Tejerinas will host an exhibition of Art and Sculpture by the artist Francisco Javier Antolin, inspired by the work of the French Camille Claudel, Auguste Rodin’s muse.

The exhibition ‘El rincón de Camille’ can be visited from June 26 to July 9, with free access.
The Estepona Town Hall informs that Room 1 of Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flores, will host from June 26 the Art & Sculpture exhibition ‘El rincón de Camille’, by the artist F. Javier Antolin.
The pictorial exhibition, inspired by the work of the French Camille Claudel, muse of Auguste Rodin, can be visited until July 9, from Tuesday to Friday, from 09:00 to 20:00 hours, and Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00 hours, with free access.
Francisco Javier Antolin Serrano was born in Madrid in 1971 and lives in Algeciras. Sculptor, draftsman and painter, he has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca, specializing in Sculpture. He completed his training with an Erasmus Scholarship at the School of Fine Arts in Toulouse, France, in addition to completing the C.A.P. (Pedagogical Aptitude Course). 1994/95.
During more than 30 years of artistic and teaching career, he has carried out numerous solo and group exhibitions, and has participated in various artistic projects. Among his most recent exhibitions, highlights the exhibition of sculptures in the Saccone gardens of the Cruz Herrera Museum in La Línea de la Concepción, last summer, and the group exhibition in the 12th Edition “Caprichos” in the Botanical Garden of La Concepción in Malaga, among others. Likewise, last year he presented the exhibition inspired by the queen of ancient Egypt, ‘Dreams of Nefertiti’, at the Casa de las Tejerinas in Estepona.
In previous years, with less assiduity, he has made both individual and collective exhibitions, mainly pictorial, although with the presence of some sculptural pieces.
