Francisco J. Antolin returns to the Casa de Las Tejerinas with new sculptures and other artwork
The exhibition, with free access, will be open to the public from October 24 to November 21.
The Estepona City Council reports that the Madrid artist based in Algeciras Francisco Javier Antolin will present a new exhibition of sculptures and other arts in Room 1 of the Casa de Las Tejerinas.
The exhibition will remain open to the public from October 24 to November 21, from Tuesday to Friday from 09.00 to 20.00 hours, and Saturdays from 09.00 to 14.00 and from 16.00 to 20.00 hours, with free access.
Francisco Javier Antolin Serrano was born in Madrid 1971 and lives in Algeciras. He is a sculptor, draftsman and painter, and has a degree in Fine Arts. He studied at the universities of Granada, Salamanca and Toulouse. With more than 30 years of artistic and teaching career, he has carried out numerous solo and group exhibitions, and has participated in various artistic projects.
The closest exhibitions in time have been two complex projects: ‘El taller del transformista’ and ‘El rincón de Camille’, presented in El castillo de Tarifa (2020), in El Museo Cruz Herrera in La línea de la Concepción (2021), and in the Sala CajaSur in Algeciras.
At the collective level, he has participated in the exhibition ‘Caprichos’, at the Botanical Garden of Malaga, and in the exhibition ‘Witty Project’ at the Caja Blanca in Malaga in 2022 and 2023.
In the spring of last year he premiered in Estepona the art exhibition ‘Dreams of Nefertiti’, composed mainly of sculptures, as well as drawings and paintings, inspired by the queen of the XVIII dynasty of Egypt.
