Cine-Club screens the musical fantasy film ‘Wonka’ at the Centro Cultural Padre Manuel

The City Council of Estepona reports that the Cine-Club of the delegation of Culture will end the autumn cycle next Thursday, December 19, at 19.00 pm, with the screening of ‘Wonka’ (2023), a musical fantasy film aimed at all audiences. It will be at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center,
The film, from the UK, is directed by Paul King and stars Timothee Chalamet, Calah Lane, Olivia Colman, Hugh Grant, Keegan-Michael Key and Paterson Joseph, among others.
Based on the character that stars in ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, Roald Dahl’s most iconic children’s book and one of the best-selling books of all time, ‘Wonka’ tells the story of how the world’s greatest inventor, magician and chocolatier became the beloved Willy Wonka we know today, focusing on his youth and how he met an Oompa-Loompa in one of his first adventures.
The screening will be in the original version in English, subtitled in Spanish, with free admission until full capacity is reached.
