The Women’s Delegation will hold a workshop on personal growth through self-help books.

It will take place on Wednesday, April 23, coinciding with the International Book Day, at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center.

The City Council of Estepona reports that on the occasion of the International Book Day, next Wednesday, April 23, the Municipal Women’s Information Center will hold a ‘Workshop on personal growth through self-help books’.

The workshop, entitled ‘Self-help books as a therapeutic tool’, will be taught by the Psychology Department of the Delegation of Women, and aims to make participants aware, through a brief tour of some books on this subject, the usefulness of this therapeutic tool, inviting them to become observers of their own thoughts and behaviors in order to modify those behaviors that limit people and replace them with more constructive ones.

The day will start at 10.00 a.m. and will include the lecture ‘Self-help books as a therapeutic tool’, the performance of practical exercises from several self-help books and the presentation of copies by the attendees. For this, it is recommended to come with those that have been significant at some point in their lives for presentation to the other participants.
