The City Council announces the photography contest ‘Estepona through the cell phone’ aimed at young people registered in the city
The deadline for submitting photographs will be open from May 6 to June 6 and is open to young people between 14 and 35 years of age.
The Estepona City Council has announced the Photography Contest ‘Estepona through the mobile’. It is a contest aimed at young people that aims to promote photography in the municipality as a means of youth cultural expression, promote knowledge of their environment and show, at the same time, the creativity of young people.
The councilor of the Youth area, Julia Simon, explained that the theme of the photograph is free but as a prerequisite must show any point of Estepona. The photograph must be taken between May 6 and June 6, 2025 so participants must set up their equipment with date and time. The young participants must take photographs of objects, areas, corners, spaces and / or landscapes that for its unique beauty is of interest and that are in the municipality of Estepona. In addition, they must include a brief text arguing why the photograph was taken.
Young people registered in Estepona at the time of application, aged between 14 and 35 years old in the year 2025 may participate.
3 prizes will be awarded to the three participants who obtain the best scores:
1st PRIZE: 300 euros.
2nd PRIZE: 200 euros.
3rd PRIZE: 100 euros.
The photographs must be submitted together with the entry form (Annex I of the competition rules, which can be found in the rules at www.estepona.es) to the e-mail address juventud@estepona.es.
