Medina Azahara, Antonio José and Haze will perform at the Estepona Fair, which will begin with the opening speech by Eva Ruiz.

The Caseta Municipal will host free concerts by artists of different musical styles such as Haze, Antonio José, Medina Azahara, and the show of Las Soles, María de la Colina and Sal Marina. From Thursday to Saturday you can enjoy every afternoon of a free horse-drawn carriage ride, and on Wednesday 2 will be the Children’s Day.

The Estepona City Council has presented the program of the Fair and Festivities 2025 that will begin on Tuesday July 1 with the opening speech by the presenter of Canal SUR, Eva Ruiz, and the performance of the Malaga Nuria Fergó. The event will take place in the extension of the Avenida Juan Carlos I, in the fountain square of the Athletics Stadium, from 21.00 hours. The inauguration and lighting of the fairground lighting, chaired by the authorities and accompanied by the Municipal Band of Estepona, will be at 22.30 hours and will include the traditional fireworks display.

The councilor attached to the area of Festivities, Macarena Diánez, has detailed the content of the program, which has included performances and activities aimed at all audiences. The parade of giants and big heads, accompanied by a musical carriage, will announce the start of the fair on Tuesday July 1 at 20.00 hours, prior to the proclamation, departing from the Victor de Serna School.

To close the first day of the fair has scheduled the performance of the Group of Ballroom Dancing, Cabaret and Oriental Dance of the delegation of Culture, directed by Mariví Rodríguez, and the performance of the Flamenco Dancer Claudia Ramirez ‘La Marivilla’. It will be at 23.30 pm in the Municipal Booth.

As for the program of performances, the Municipal Booth will host during the days of the Fair free concerts by artists of different musical styles such as Haze (Wednesday July 2), Antonio José (Friday July 4), Medina Azahara (Saturday July 5), and Las Soles, Maria de la Colina and Sal Marina (show ‘Al compás por sevillanas’. Thursday July 3).

People with extreme sensitivity to loud sounds can pick up hearing protectors at the Civil Protection booth, located at the entrance of the fairgrounds. In this way they will be able to reduce the effects of hearing exposure during the fair.

Wednesday of the fair will be dedicated to the little ones, who can enjoy a children’s party at 19.00 hours with ‘Tina Kids and her friends’, in the Municipal Booth. In addition, the attractions will have a discount during that day.

On Thursday July 3 will take place the Snack for Seniors in the Municipal Booth, with the collaboration of the Obrador-Pasteleria Los Remedios, enlivened by the Academy of Monica Peña, and the performance, from 20.00 hours, Tamara Jerez.

Free horse-drawn carriage ride

As already happened last year, from Thursday until Saturday, you can enjoy every afternoon of a free horse-drawn carriage ride, which will stop at the Municipal Caseta.

On the other hand, from Friday to Sunday, between 12.00 and 20.00 hours, the Horse Walk of the Fairgrounds will be open for all riders, who are recommended to go dressed in Andalusian style and with the horse decorated.

Fans of the equine world have an appointment on Sunday, July 6 in the VIII Contest of Andalusian Harnessing. It will take place in the Paseo de Caballos of the fairgrounds and will be awarded to the best dressed horses and riders in each category: Rider, Young Rider, Veteran Rider, Couple and Amazon. The Association of Friends of the Horse of Estepona collaborates.

And finally, the Plaza de Toros will host on Sunday the traditional bullfight of the fair, which this year will have an exceptional line-up. Six bulls from the prestigious Hermanos García Jiménez and Olga Jiménez ranch will be fought by the top bullfighting figures who have gone through the Puerta del Príncipe in Seville: Morante, Manzanares and Talavante.

‘Los piratas flamencos’, the ‘Orquesta Sugar’ and the Baraka & Ana Soto Group will entertain the Caseta Municipal during the fair.

The operators of the City Council are working for days in the adequacy of the Fair Park and the installation of the luminous cover that will welcome visitors. The work will continue with the installation of the attractions and the preparation of the Caseta Municipal, where the free concerts will be held.

Tuesday, July 1st

20:00 hours: A parade of Giants and Big-heads through the city center, accompanied by a musical carriage, will announce the beginning of the Fair and Festivities of Estepona, departing from the Victor de Serna School.

21:00 hours: Reading of the Proclamation of the Fair, by the presenter of Canal SUR Eva Ruiz. In the Prolongation of Juan Carlos I Avenue – Plaza de la Fuente – Athletics Stadium. The event will feature a performance by Nuria Fergó.
