Education: Working instead of doing nothing

Young people who have been temporarily suspended from school classes can do social work in Estepona under the “Apréndelo” programme instead of staying at home.

For example, during this time they can work at the Association for People with Mental Disabilities of Estepona (Aprona) and the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer’s Patients.

The programme has several goals: On the one hand, it aims to prevent the young people from staying at home alone. On the other hand, the young people are to learn values such as solidarity and commitment through the work.
