Estepona will be the hub of youth soccer with the “Estepona Summer CUP 2026” tournament

Between Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st, more than 100 matches will be played at the San Fernando Soccer Field, the Francisco Muñoz Pérez Stadium, and the Athletics Stadium, with free admission
The Estepona City Council reports that Luis Gil, the councilmember in charge of the Sports Department, and Carlos Navarro Pérez, CEO of CNSports Tourism Agency, today presented the “Estepona Summer CUP” soccer tournament, which will take place in the city tomorrow, Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, featuring 54 teams in the pre-benjamín and youth divisions.
The event is organized by the CNSPORTS Tourism Agency, in collaboration with the City Council, and aims to promote participation in sports among young people, while fostering sportsmanship and team spirit in the region.
This year’s tournament will feature 54 teams from 30 clubs, hailing from various locations across Spain, including Ceuta, Córdoba, Granada, Seville, Ciudad Real, Almería, Huelva, Jaén, Cádiz, and Málaga. In addition, several teams from Estepona will compete in the different age categories.
The teams will be divided into different age categories, ranging from pre-benjamines (ages 5–7), benjamines (ages 8–9), alevines (ages 10–11), and infantiles (ages 12–13), up to cadetes (ages 14–15).
Following the participants’ welcome on the 19th, the matches will take place on the 20th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the 20th, and from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, at the San Fernando Municipal Soccer Field, the Francisco Muñoz Pérez Municipal Soccer Stadium, and the Estepona Municipal Athletics Stadium.
Admission to the matches will be free.
