Ana Villalobos. Born in Barcelona, Ana discovers at an early age her passion for art and, specifically, for painting. Although her academic training does not take place in these fields, she is always accompanied by the need to express herself through art.
While still very young, he moved to Estepona with his family for work reasons, where he has lived for more than thirty years. During that time she combined painting with part-time training, and her work and family life. But it is since a few years ago, when he finds the time to devote himself full time to painting.
Throughout her life, at different stages, she has worked with different pictorial techniques, but it is oil at first and acrylic at present, the techniques with which she feels most comfortable.
The artist also finds in the female portrait a source of inspiration, which she reflects in most of her works. She also works on recycled surfaces, such as cardboard, wood, cork or feather cardboard, being this another of her motivations, which she mixes with other plastic arts such as ‘decoupage’ or collage. Surfaces that she covers with sheets of old and out-of-print books or other materials, giving a very modern approach to her work.
