Estepona hosts the Fit Bike Estepona MTB Marathon to benefit the Spanish Cancer Association of Estepona.

The race will take place on Sunday, May 24, starting at 9:30 am. Registrations, limited to 300 participants, can be made on the official website of the race, until May 21, at 15:00 hours, and on the day of the race, as long as there are still places available.

The councilman attached to the delegation of Sports, Luis Gil, the president of the CD Fit Bike Estepona, Juan José López, have reported the MTB Marathon Fit Bike Estepona, to be held next Sunday, May 24, from 09:30 am, organized by C.D. Fit Bike Estepona, with the collaboration of the Union Cyclist Virgen del Carmen and the City Council.

This test is part of the sports calendar of the XXVIII Provincial Cycling Circuit Diputación de Málaga, consisting of more than 40 events in the modalities of MTB Marathon, MTB Half Marathon, MTB XCO, MTB Schools, Road from cadet category and Road Schools.

The event was also attended by the president of the Spanish Association Against Cancer of Estepona, Julia Crespo, and photographer Virginia Villalba, which have highlighted the charitable nature of the test in which funds will be raised, through what they have called ‘Photo Solidarity’, which will go to this charity that helps cancer patients.

The Fit Bike Estepona MTB Marathon, third of the five MTB races of the Provincial Circuit 2026 of 65 kilometers and 1,360 of unevenness, will allow the participation of electric bicycles (E-Bikes), in accordance with the current technical regulations of the Andalusian Cycling Federation. These bicycles will start with a delay of 10 minutes with respect to the rest of the participants in the competition.

The following categories will be able to participate: Under-23, Master 60-50-40-30, Junior and Elite (male and female) and Cyclotourists.

Registrations, limited to 300 participants, will be open through the web form, until next Thursday, May 21, at 15:00 hours, at the price of 20 € for federated participants and 32 € for those who are not in possession of the federative license. The registration fee will be increased from May 18 by 5 €, so 25 € for federated and 37 € for non-federated. However, those who wish may register the same day of the race during the bib distribution hours (from 08:00 to 09:00 hours), as long as there are free places, with a new price increase of 5 €, being 30 € for federated and 42 € for those who are not federated.
