The City Council has opened the pre-registration period for the Municipal Sports Schools for the 2026–2027 school year
The pre-registration period will remain open until August 16. On Tuesday, September 1, a lottery will be held to select the numbers that will determine the order of registration, which will take place from September 3 to 13.
Those who have NOT pre-registered may do so starting September 18. The courses will take place from September 28, 2026, to June 15, 2027, in both Estepona and Cancelada.
The Estepona City Council announces that the pre-registration period for the Municipal Sports Schools for the 2026–27 academic year will remain open until August 16; these programs will run from September 28, 2026, through mid-June 2027.
Those interested may pre-register for any of the activities, listing their group choices in order of preference. Participants may select up to 2 preferences, except for Multidisciplinary Training and Pilates, for which the maximum is 3.
The councilmember assigned to the Sports Department, Luis Miguel Gil, explained that, once the pre-registration period has ended, a lottery will be held on September 1 to determine the final registration order for participation in any of the 24 sports activities scheduled by the Municipal Sports Department, both in Estepona and in Cancelada.
The registration period will run from September 3 to 13. Online payment for registration will be available in the order of preference determined by the lottery on the website www.reservapista.estepona.es
The 16 directly managed Municipal Sports Schools are as follows: Physical Activity for Seniors, Chess, Track and Field, Handball, Adapted Sports, Stretching, Soccer, GAP (Glutes, Abs, and Legs), Multidisciplinary Training, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Judo, Karate, Multisport, Pilates, Psychomotor Skills, and Step/Fitness. And the 8 indirectly managed schools: Badminton, Basketball, Climbing, Fencing, Golf, Padel, Tennis, and Volleyball.
Those who have NOT pre-registered may do so starting September 18, on a first-come, first-served basis by phone, at the Sports Department.
