La Casa de Las Tejerinas is hosting a new painting exhibition by artist Paul Davies
The exhibition will be on display from July 23 to August 12
The Estepona City Council announces that Room 2 of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flores, will host an exhibition by Paul Davies, an English artist based in Estepona, starting this Thursday, July 23.
The art exhibition consists of 23 paintings, and will be open to the public through August 12, Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with free admission.
Paul Davies was born in Otley, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom, in 1967. As a child, he watched his grandfather paint landscapes.
He earned a degree in Hotel Management from the University of Leeds. He pursued a 35-year career as a chef, pastry chef, and chocolatier, which culminated in the opening of the restaurant “Truffles” with his wife Maggie in 2000. It was twice named the best restaurant by Yorkshire Life magazine.
He retired in 2027. He began painting during the lockdown, taking an online course from Rod Moore’s Academy of Painting.
He has lived in Estepona since 2004.
