Estepona hosts this weekend the Andalusian Masters Championship of Outdoor Athletics, Individual and Relay by Clubs

This competition of the highest Andalusian level will be held on May 30 and 31 at the Municipal Athletics Stadium.

The City Council of Estepona today hosted the official presentation of the Andalusian Masters Championships in Outdoor Athletics, Individual and Relay Clubs, to be held on 30 and 31 May in the Municipal Athletics Stadium in the town.

The event was attended by the councilman attached to the delegation of Sports, Luis Gil, and the president of the Andalusian Athletics Federation, Enrique Lopez Cuenca, who stressed the importance of Estepona again host one of the most important competitions of the Andalusian calendar of athletics masters. In this sense, the mayor of Sports has stressed that more than 600 athletes will participate in this championship.

The championship will bring together athletes from different parts of Andalusia for two days and will be held on Saturday May 30, from 10:30 to 23:00 hours, and Sunday May 31, from 09:00 to 16:30 hours.

Estepona will be represented by about twenty athletes from the Estepona Athletics Club, which in the 2026 edition achieved more than twenty medals.

The competition is organized by the Andalusian Athletics Federation with the collaboration of the Estepona City Council, the Ministry of Education and Sport and the Estepona Athletics Club.
