Success in the National Tennis Circuit RPT-Marca by Wilson 2026, held in Estepona

The tests of the 31st Junior Circuit were held last week at the Estepona Tennis and Paddle Club, with the support of the Estepona City Council and the Royal Spanish and Andalusian Tennis Federation.
The Estepona City Council reports that the facilities of Club de Tenis & Padel Estepona successfully hosted, for the seventh consecutive year, the fifteenth round of the Youth Circuit RPT – Marca by Wilson powered by Ambrosía 2026, with the youth categories Cadet U16 and Junior U18, the longest-running Youth Circuit of Spanish Tennis, which this year celebrates its thirty-first anniversary, organized by the Professional Tennis Registry.
The test was directed by Alberto Gil, acting as referee judge David Gomez, with the support of the Sports Delegation of the City of Estepona, Royal Spanish Tennis Federation and the Andalusian Tennis Federation.
The presentation of the event, which took place at the Estepona Town Hall, was attended by the councilman attached to the Sports Delegation, Luis Gil; the president of the Professional Tennis Registry and founder of the RPT-Marca Youth Circuit, Luis Mediero; the president of the Club Tennis & Paddle Estepona, Fernando Gil; and the tournament director, Alberto Gil.
The results were as follows: Category Young Promises Challenge U16: U16 Male Final: Nicolas Suarez (4) beat Mario Fiorone (2) by 4/6 6/3 7/6. U16 Girls Final: Lucie Pelaez (1) defeats Lucia Jorrin (4) by WO. Junior Cup Challenge U18 Men’s Final U18: Rubén Armijo (1) defeated Javi Montes by 6/0 3/0 abandonment. U18 Women’s Final: Sofya Pyzhyanova beat Margaret Bell by 6/0 6/1.
In addition, coinciding with the final rounds, different training and professional certification courses for tennis coaches were organized by the Professional Tennis Registry and the Professional Padel Registry, taught by Alberto Gil, the Tournament Director.
Founded in Spain in 1989, the Professional Tennis Registry has more than 28,000 certified coaches in 131 countries, making it the organization of coaches with the largest global presence, of which there are more than 10,000 in all the Spanish Autonomous Communities, which have the endorsement and recognition of the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation.
The Registro Profesional de Tenis – RPT is the oldest and largest promoter of Junior Tennis in Spain, organizing since 1995 the 31st National Circuit RPT – MARCA by Wilson powered by Ambrosía, which in this edition has 31 weeks of competition with 89 tests throughout the Spanish geography, with the support of the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation, and the collaboration of Ambrosía, NH hotels, HdI, ICI
Sports University and APE Sport. This year it is estimated that more than 6,000 players will participate in the Circuit.
