This Friday, Casa de Las Tejerinas will host a meeting with the physician and writer Victoriano Peralta.

The event will take place at 7:00 p.m., with free access until full capacity is reached.

The City Council of Estepona informs that the Alfonso Gil Alfonso Hall of the Casa de Las Tejerinas will host this Friday, June 12, at 19:00 pm, a literary meeting with the doctor, writer and storyteller, Victoriano Peralta.

It will be an evening of literature, imagination and meeting with the author from Jaén, with free admission until full capacity.

Victoriano Javier Peralta Prieto, a doctor by profession, has woven a literary work with the sensitivity of one who observes the human soul through the prism of imagination. His career as a storyteller has been consolidated in recent years with a remarkable production that places him as a singular voice within contemporary magical realism.

Cuentos del circo’, ‘Stellae’ and ‘Cientouna’ are books of short stories that reveal his mastery in intertwining the fantastic and the intimate. His incursion into the novel has been equally fruitful. Vincerò!’ delights us in a luminous journey into the interior of his blind character. A sotavento’ delves into the turbulent years of the Russian revolution, spinning a historical fiction immersed in the unknowns of the twentieth century. In ‘La casa a barlovento’, he launches into the great adventure of the discovery of the New World focused from the inside of the simple people.

His most recent work, ‘Hieronymus, What do your eyes see?’ is a novel whose protagonist is the painter El Bosco. Like him, the author imagines landscapes full of magic and fears, celestial and tenebrous as is the kaleidoscope of colors, shadows and lights that the master of the brush gave to humanity.

Victoriano Peralta writes with words that crack the door that separates us from the unknown. His work is testimony that literature, like the medicine to which he has dedicated his life, can be devotion, passion and revelation.
