The VIII Estepona Fashion Week will showcase the collections of 12 local establishments

The fashion shows with proposals in clothing, beauty and accessories will be held from September 25 to 27 at the Paseo Marítimo, under the direction of stylist and image consultant Miguel Toledo and Juanchy García Estudio.

The V Contest of Young Designers EDM (Estepona de Moda) will take place on the 28th with the participation of eight finalists from around the country.

The Estepona City Council is launching a new edition of the city’s Fashion Week, which will run from September 25 to 28, and on this occasion will showcase the collections of 12 local establishments that will present their new proposals for fashion, beauty and accessories for the Autumn-Winter 2024/25 season.

This event was born with the aim of promoting the activity of the city’s commerce, showing their products in an attractive way. The parades of local establishments will take place from September 25 to 27, from 20.00 hours, on the Paseo Marítimo, next to the Rotunda of the European Union.

Organized jointly by the City Council, Juanchy García Estudio and image consultant Miguel Toledo, the event includes the celebration of the V Contest of Young Designers EDM (Estepona de Moda), which this year is open to participants from all over the country, and whose aim is to support and recognize the work of young designers and serve as a platform for future design professionals.

The Councillor for Culture and Festivities, Macarena Diánez, explained that the eight finalists selected in this V Contest of Young Designers will present their collections in the parade that will take place on September 28, presented by the model Angela Ponce, Miss Universe Spain. The jury, chaired by the mayor, will be in charge of choosing the winner, who will receive a prize of 1,000 euros and a trophy. The second runner-up will receive a prize of 500 euros and trophy, and the third will be awarded 300 euros and trophy. In addition, the City Council will award five runners-up prizes of 200 euros. This year’s parade changes its setting and will also be held on the Paseo Marítimo.

The parades with the proposals of the 12 local establishments will be presented by the stylist Miguel Toledo and the professional model Carmen Serrano, and will be enlivened by the performances of the singers Julia Fernández-Llébrez, youth winner of the Contest ‘Estepona CREA 2024’ (day 25); Nayeli Ruiz, child finalist of the Contest ‘Estepona CREA 2024’ (day 26); and Remigio Maillo ‘Remi’ (day 27). On the 28th will be the turn of Miriam Pavón, with her Fire Dance show.

– Thursday 26: Maria Cano, Cleo Collections, Fronteo and Kulture Xtreme.

– Friday 27: Samantha Gil Boutique, Matilda, La Ganga Modas and L’Atelier de Isabelle.

– Saturday 28: V Contest of Young Designers ‘Estepona de Moda’. EDM24 finalists are the following designers:
