Through nearly thirty works, the artist takes viewers on a journey through the transformation of image, color, and matter.

Alejandro Hermann’s painting stems from a process of reduction: from figure to matter, from image to imprint.

His work explores the expressive possibilities of charcoal, pigments, and oxides, creating surfaces where each layer bears the traces of time. Straddling figuration and abstraction, his works invite a contemplative experience in which matter becomes the true language of painting.

For more than 40 years, Alejandro Hermann has explored a wide range of styles, themes, materials, and techniques—from figurative painting to the most intimate abstraction—inviting the viewer to an experience of emotional and spiritual introspection. His art seeks to inspire thought, evoking inner states of peace, balance, and reflection.

His work has been exhibited in group, private, and solo shows in various locations throughout Spain and the rest of Europe. His works are held in collections in Marbella, Madrid, London, Paris, Vienna, St. Moritz, New York, Miami, Mexico City, Toronto, Lisbon, Casablanca, and Riyadh. In addition, he participates in charitable projects with UNICEF, the Lions Club, the Padre Ostos Foundation, and CUDECA.
