An intimate concert by Hugo Toscano, former guitarist for “Elefantes,” at Plaza Casa Cañada, next to the Santa Ana Market

The Estepona City Council announces that musician Hugo Toscano will perform live this coming Friday, August 28, at 10:00 p.m., in Plaza Casa Cañada, next to the Santa Ana Market.
In the intimate concert “Classic Pop Rock Songs,” the founding member, active performer, and former guitarist of the Spanish pop-rock band “Elefantes”—a role he held for twenty-five years—will perform classic pop-rock songs from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s…
Hugo Toscano (Barcelona, 1970). A founding member and key artistic figure in the history of the pop/rock band “Elefantes” since its inception in 1995, he has released more than a dozen studio albums and one live album with the band, in addition to performing hundreds of live concerts in Spain, Mexico, and the U.S.
He has worked on album recordings with producers such as Phil Manzanera (Roxy Music), Enrique Bunbury (Héroes del Silencio), Quimi Portet (El Último de la Fila), Joe Dworniak (Radio Futura, Jarabe de Palo, Pata Negra, etc…
Both during the first phase (1995–2006) and the second (2013–2019) with Elefantes, he shared the stage with some of the most important and renowned musical artists of the 20th and early 21st centuries, such as Jaime Urrutia, Los Secretos, Loquillo, Bunbury, Seguridad Social, Alaska, Javier Ruibal, the Mexican bands “Elefante” and “Aterciopelados,” Amaral, Izal, Miss Cafeína, and many, many others…
The year 2023 witnessed the resurgence and rebirth of composer, lyricist, singer, and guitarist Hugo Toscano with the album *El Elefante Olvidado*.
