A total of 3,105 people have pre-registered for the 2026/2027 Municipal Sports Schools
On Tuesday, September 1, a drawing will be held to select the numbers that will determine the order of registration, which will take place from September 3 to 13. Those who have NOT pre-registered may do so starting September 18. The courses will take place from September 28, 2026, to June 15, 2027, in both Estepona and Cancelada.
The Estepona City Council reports that a total of 3,105 people have pre-registered to participate in the activities of the Municipal Sports Schools for the 2026–27 school year, which will run from September 28, 2026, through mid-June 2027.
The councilmember in charge of the Sports Department, Luis Miguel Gil, explained that, once the pre-registration period has ended, a lottery will be held next Tuesday, September 1, to determine the order of final registration for participation in any of the 24 sports activities scheduled by the Municipal Sports Department, both in Estepona and in Cancelada.
The registration period will run from September 3 to 13. Online payment for registration will be available in the order of preference determined by the drawing on the website www.reservapista.estepona.es
The 16 directly managed Municipal Sports Schools are as follows: Physical Activity for Seniors, Chess, Track and Field, Handball, Adapted Sports, Stretching, Soccer, GAP (Glutes, Abs, and Legs), Multidisciplinary Training, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Judo, Karate, Multisport, Pilates, Psychomotor Skills, and Step/Fitness.
The 8 sports schools managed indirectly—run by the 24 Horas Deportivas Foundation and other local sports clubs—are as follows: Badminton, Basketball, Climbing, Fencing, Golf, Padel, Tennis, and Volleyball, and may be subject to different registration deadlines and procedures.
Those who have NOT pre-registered may do so starting September 18, on a first-come, first-served basis by phone, at the Sports Office.
