The Estepona City Council is offering five free training courses to improve youth employability

The first two training courses, which are part of the professional certification programs in Bar and Cafeteria Services and Restaurant Services, will begin on September 16

The Estepona City Council announces that on September 16, two of the free training courses sponsored by the City Council will begin. These courses are aimed at young people interested in acquiring new skills and improving their employability. Those who are interested and meet the requirements still have time to register.

The first training program consists of several modules that are part of the Certificate of Professional Competence in Bar and Café Services, while the second program consists of modules from the Certificate of Professional Competence in Restaurant Services. Both training programs are highly practical in nature and aim to facilitate entry into the job market in one of the sectors with the highest demand for professionals: the hospitality industry.

These training programs are made possible by a grant awarded to the Estepona City Council as part of the “Youth Entrepreneurship Pathways” initiative, promoted by the INCYDE Foundation—an organization affiliated with the Chambers of Commerce that promotes training and entrepreneurship— and funded through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), the European Union’s main instrument for supporting employment, education, and social inclusion.

The schedule for the remaining training sessions is as follows:

– October 5: Course on Social and Health Care for Dependent Individuals in Social Institutions.

– October 27: Course on Basic Restaurant and Bar Operations.

– November 3: Course on Medical Transportation.

The City Council encourages interested individuals to take advantage of this opportunity for free training, especially those seeking to improve their professional skills and expand their chances of entering the job market.
